Hello,
My name is Lucretia and I'm just getting ready to start my clinical fellowship year in an urban school district. The majority of the children in the district are English Language Learners or speak a variation of Standard American English. The district is divided in two- the Hills schools and the Flat Lands schools. Both types of school have their challenges and rewards. I'm not even sure which type of school I'll be placed at. I'll let you know when I find out.
This summer I plan to get as organized as possible by creating a master binder of materials I believe will be useful as I start out. First items in the binder are common core standards relevant to speech pathologists. I promise to share the contents of the binder when its finished.
